A resolution must be chosen that is within the capabilities of the machine, which can preserve sufficient details, and does not produce a file of superfluous size. Enhanced scanners of today’s world have features like high quality optical lens, greater dynamic range, lower noise levels, finer steps on the stepping motor, much faster interfaces, and better-bundled software.
